MAPSS' St. Louis Chapter would like to invite you to our first program of 2010. We're excited to be bringing in David Searns of Haley Marketing on March 25th at Spazio in Westport.
When it comes to marketing a staffing firm, few people know the industry like David. He literally grew up in the business (his Mom and Dad ran a very successful staffing and executive recruiting firm in Upstate New York). Mix in a degree in information systems from Clarkson University, an MBA from The Wharton School, and more than 13 years of marketing and consulting in the staffing industry, and you have someone with the rare ability to combine high level strategic thinking with real entrepreneurial ingenuity.

Unless you're living in a cave, or you're lucky enough to be in a counter-cyclical niche, you've undoubtedly noticed that we are in the worst market for staffing services in the last 40 years. Employers are scared. They've pulled back on investments in technology, marketing, and of course, talent. And while you know that reducing spending in the areas that drive your revenues doesn't make sense, that's still what companies do.
How to make your staffing firm stand out, stay top-of-mind, and sell more.
What does it take to make your staffing firm stand out from the competition? Great service alone won't do it. With dozens (or even hundreds) of local competitors you need to have a sound strategy to get the attention and interest of prospective clients. This seminar will show you want it takes to differentiate your services, and the specific things you need to do to make your firm stand out from the competition, stay top-of-mind with clients and prospects and integrate sales and marketing to sell more.
There will be time for questions after the presentation.
The event will be held at Spazio in Westport. Registration will begin at 7:30 AM with a Continental Breakfast being provided. The program will start at 8:00 AM sharp and the presentation will run until 10:00 AM. MAPSS members in good standing $30.00 and Non-members $45.00.
