Please Join Us Our Next “Sharing Lunch”, May 26^th, 2010

Dear Fellow MAPSS Member,

The St. Louis Board of Directors of MAPSS continues to hear that the most valuable time spent at conferences and events is the time spent networking with other recruiters, discussing issues of the day. The St. Louis Board would like to invite you to join us for our next in the successful series of “Sharing Lunches”. We would like you to join us to share issues of the day, best practices and see how your peers might be able to provide suggestions/techniques for successful business solutions.

We’re planning on this event being an open and honest forum to address those issues you have on your mind. Your colleagues have implemented successful strategies, and have an experienced insight. Those who need help and those willing to share are enthusiastically invited. We’ll give each attendee the opportunity to talk about these three questions:

What’s the best (or worst) idea you’ve implemented in the past six months?

What’s keeping you up at night?

Is there a question or issue that you’d like to hear some helpful comments on?

We’re once again limiting the invitations to existing members in good standing of MAPSS . . . both owners and recruiters. The group will include both contingency and retained recruiters as well as staffing professionals. We encourage candid participation and sharing of issues as well as techniques that are working (or not working). This is an atmosphere of open cooperation, where participants can contribute to each other and learn from each other. There is not necessarily a set agenda, we’re interested in addressing what you consider to be your most important issues of the day.

The event will again be held in a private room at Pujols 5 in Westport on May 26^th. The doors will open at 11:30 for a bit of networking and we’ll sit down for lunch before 12:00. Everyone will be able to order off the usual Pujols menu, and we’ll each pay for our own meal with by separate check.

We hope you’ll be able to join us for what has become a recurring event. The St. Louis Chapter Board is interested in providing forums of interest and value to our members, without the “typical” trainer and higher expense approach. There has been member excitement and consistent participation with this event.
